1. Who you're contracting with
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and myfrenchclasses("myfrenchclasses", "we", "us", or "our"), the provider of the TEF Canada preparation platform, courses, AI-powered evaluation tools, mock tests, and related services available at this website (the "Service").
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, purchasing a course or subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. The Service
myfrenchclasses provides online French language learning content focused on the TEF Canada exam, including pre-recorded lessons, practice tests, AI-generated speaking and writing feedback, live class recordings, and community resources. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or for fraudulent or abusive purposes;
- Infringe any intellectual property or other rights of myfrenchclasses or third parties;
- Probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
- Upload malware or any content that is harmful, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful;
- Resell, redistribute, or share your account access with third parties.
6. Intellectual property
myfrenchclasses retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all course materials, software, AI evaluation outputs, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes within the plan you have purchased.
7. AI-generated feedback
Our speaking and writing tools use AI to estimate CLB scores and provide feedback. These outputs are approximations intended to help you prepare for the TEF — they are not official scores and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them as a substitute for the actual TEF Canada exam result, immigration advice, or any other regulated professional advice. You are responsible for the prompts and submissions you provide and for ensuring you have the right to submit any content.
8. Payments, subscriptions, and tax
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time through your account or via paddle.net.
9. Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
11. Service availability and warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, myfrenchclasses' aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify myfrenchclasses against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's country of incorporation, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
