A 20-week study plan that works

How is TEF Canada scored?

Each of the 4 sections (Listening 360, Reading 300, Speaking 450, Writing 450) is mapped to a CLB level. Your lowest section determines your CRS bonus.

How long does TEF prep take?

From zero to CLB 5, plan for about 5 months of focused practice (45–60 min/day). CLB 7 takes about 12 months on the advanced track.

Is TEF accepted for Express Entry?

Yes. TEF Canada is one of two IRCC-approved French exams (the other being TCF Canada).
